WHO IS IQBAL RAMADHAN?
Iqbaal Dhiafakhri Ramadhan (born December 28, 1999) is an Indonesian actor and singer. Iqbaal began his career as an actor by playing Trapani in the musical Laskar Pelangi in 2010. He then became a member of the vocal group Coboy Junior in 2011 until the group disbanded in 2017. He is known for his involvement as Dilan in the films Dilan 1990, Dilan 1991, and Milea : Voice from Dilan. In 2018, he won an award at the Macao International Film Festival & Awards for the Variety Asian Star category.
Iqbaal started his career as Trapani in the Laskar Pelangi Musical (2010-2011). From there, he got a model role in The Rain band's video clip entitled “Playing with My Heart” and a big screen role in the film 5 Eagles as Rusdi Badruddin in 2011 and released his first single entitled "Thank You". Iqbaal later became a member of the little boy band, Coboy Junior, which was officially formed on July 23, 2011 (which later changed its name to CJR in 2014; then disbanded in 2017). In June 2013, Iqbaal and Coboy Junior released their debut film entitled Coboy Junior The Movie.
Iqbaal also formed a band with his school friends called Second Breaktime as a vocalist and guitarist. Currently, he is more active as a bass guitar player in the band formed in 2017, namely svmmerdose. On July 17 2017, Iqbaal was announced to play the character Dilan in the film adaptation of the novel Dilan: He is my Dilan in 1990. The film is titled Dilan 1990 and was first screened on January 25 2018
